Investment is what? Gambling or Speculation?

We have a lot of perceptions in our mind related to what investment really is ? under my this blog I clarify some of your doubts related to the investment

First of all, I clarify that investment is surely not gambling because gambling is wagering of money on an event with an uncertain outcome, with the primary intent of winning money or material. In gambling, the risk is not calculated you may lose everything with just one wrong bet or we can say that due to bad luck we lost but this is how gambling works, But the investment is totally different from it there may be both the possibilities that you may lose or gain but the risk is calculative you may not lose everything in investment there is more possibility of gaining profit as a comparison to gambling. Investors try to generate a satisfactory return on their capital by taking on an average or below-average amount of risk when the returns are average then the risk involved in it is also average. Investing is also not speculation because speculation has different mean speculation means that to make abnormally high returns from bets that can go one way or the other.

so here we can say that investment is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or will later be sold at a higher price for a profit. About 10% – 15% population in India investing in some funds and bonds rest of them will not even know about what investment really is, personally, my opinion is that everyone should have to know about the investment and started doing it, As we know that “Excess of everything is bad” but this law is exempted in this case here if u invest more you will get more.
